Turquoise Sculpture

Making something other than a Dining Table or Bench, I used 3 gallons of Upstart Deep Pour tinted with a transparent turquoise to create this lighted “sculpture”! Standing 4’6” tall with two live edge Ash pieces (one cut in half) and a 6” river down the center. Within the epoxy, I waited for the perfect time to add turquoise pieces of mirrored broken glass to reflect off the sun during the day……….but at night one can light it up with an array of colors from the LED rope light hidden in a channel in the live edge. The final step was to add a 1/8” pour of the Upstart 1:1 Epoxy for the final top coat.

I still have work to do on this project……but the point is……Upstart Deep Pour and the 1:1 is beautiful to work with and I am always pleased with my results! Thanks

Great pack of powder and dyes to simulate ocean. I used the colors to get close to a nice Miami Blue color
