Good product

I used it to make a river table. I had no issues with cracking or curing. It was a good product to work with.

FAQ

FAQ

It's a low-viscosity casting resin that can be poured at a maximum depth of 2.0". It is perfect for casting, embedding, and creating river tables. It has a 72-hour curing time and will reach its full strength in one week.
Deep pour castings should be limited to a 2” depth for a single pour. If you’re working on a very large casting or river table, depths should be limited to 1.5” for a single pour.
We recommend mixing it by volume.
Start with a small amount and gradually add more, until you achieve the opacity desired. It is not recommended that you use more than 3 grams of mica powder for each gallon of epoxy.
Upstart Deep Pour is not recommended for coating. When it is poured as a topcoat, it will take too long for it to cure. It was designed to be finished; therefore, we recommend coating it with our Table Top Epoxy after it has cured for a high-gloss finish or that it will be sanded and polished for a lower-gloss finish.
We do not recommend pouring more than 2" at a time. Exceeding pour depth could cause the epoxy to generate excess heat, exotherm, smoke, and then cure quickly inside the bucket.
The shelf life of Deep Pour is approximately 2 years when stored at 55-85Β° with tightly sealed lids.
We normally use HDPE to build our forms. Epoxy does not stick to HDPE and you can re-use the forms over and over.
Yes. Epoxy can be planed when it has reached a full cure. If you would like to see examples of our team planing and finishing epoxy pieces, please visit our YouTube channel.
The viscosity of the Deep Pour epoxy is very low, once mixed.
The Deep Pour epoxy has a shore hardness of 83D when cured.
The epoxy prefers a consistent temperature range, ideally in the 70s to lower 80 degree Fahrenheit range throughout the entire curing process.
