Good stuff

First time using epoxy at all. This was easy to use and the mix ratio was simple to do. Will buy agin for future projects. I still have to use the bartop poly to finish off my project. But the deep pour makes things alot easier

Deep Pour 24 inch round table top

First time using the deep pour, actually only my second project ever. I have a few mistakes but over all I think it came out ok for my first deep pour.

Incredible First Experience

Three days shipping for 3 gallons (and that at standard rates).

Minimal bubbles for my work: bubbles for about 24 hrs on the big untreated knots & holes.

This is my third review and thus, my shortest. The Okendo app is not syncing with FB for my review and just clears the data and sends me a new form.

Upstart Epoxy

High level craftsmanship there, Nic! Great job 🤩 As for the technical issue with the Okendo app, we'll definitely look into that. Thank you so much for bringing that up!
Keep creating awesome projects! 🙌

Impressive so far

I’m building a 3 x 70 inch x 4 inch deep River table with 2 benches. The River has rocks, antlers, leaves, acorns, drift wood and a huge 9.5 inch hog tooth. The epoxy is amazingly clear. All embedded items were sealed with table top epoxy individually, including the real dried fall leaves. So far, it it looking really good. The deep pour is easy to work with . Next time I will put two seal coats on the stones ( I had a few bubbles come from them, but had plenty of work time to work out). Poured it 1.25 inches deep so far.

FAQ

FAQ

It's a low-viscosity casting resin that can be poured at a maximum depth of 2.0". It is perfect for casting, embedding, and creating river tables. It has a 72-hour curing time and will reach its full strength in one week.
Deep pour castings should be limited to a 2” depth for a single pour. If you’re working on a very large casting or river table, depths should be limited to 1.5” for a single pour.
We recommend mixing it by volume.
Start with a small amount and gradually add more, until you achieve the opacity desired. It is not recommended that you use more than 3 grams of mica powder for each gallon of epoxy.
Upstart Deep Pour is not recommended for coating. When it is poured as a topcoat, it will take too long for it to cure. It was designed to be finished; therefore, we recommend coating it with our Table Top Epoxy after it has cured for a high-gloss finish or that it will be sanded and polished for a lower-gloss finish.
We do not recommend pouring more than 2" at a time. Exceeding pour depth could cause the epoxy to generate excess heat, exotherm, smoke, and then cure quickly inside the bucket.
The shelf life of Deep Pour is approximately 2 years when stored at 55-85° with tightly sealed lids.
We normally use HDPE to build our forms. Epoxy does not stick to HDPE and you can re-use the forms over and over.
Yes. Epoxy can be planed when it has reached a full cure. If you would like to see examples of our team planing and finishing epoxy pieces, please visit our YouTube channel.
The viscosity of the Deep Pour epoxy is very low, once mixed.
The Deep Pour epoxy has a shore hardness of 83D when cured.
The epoxy prefers a consistent temperature range, ideally in the 70s to lower 80 degree Fahrenheit range throughout the entire curing process.
