Turquoise Sculpture

Making something other than a Dining Table or Bench, I used 3 gallons of Upstart Deep Pour tinted with a transparent turquoise to create this lighted ā€œsculptureā€! Standing 4ā€™6ā€ tall with two live edge Ash pieces (one cut in half) and a 6ā€ river down the center. Within the epoxy, I waited for the perfect time to add turquoise pieces of mirrored broken glass to reflect off the sun during the dayā€¦ā€¦ā€¦.but at night one can light it up with an array of colors from the LED rope light hidden in a channel in the live edge. The final step was to add a 1/8ā€ pour of the Upstart 1:1 Epoxy for the final top coat.

I still have work to do on this projectā€¦ā€¦but the point isā€¦ā€¦Upstart Deep Pour and the 1:1 is beautiful to work with and I am always pleased with my results! Thanks

Great pack of powder and dyes to simulate ocean. I used the colors to get close to a nice Miami Blue color
